Message from the IBFB President
Dear visitors. Assalamualaikum.
Let me take the opportunity to provide some information on the International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB).
IBFB is a non-profit, non-partisan organization of Bangladeshi and foreign business owners and executives. Working together, our goal is to identify common business challenges, consider solutions, and advocate for change in public policy that will strengthen our business environment and accelerate our country’s economic growth for the benefit of all Bangladeshi citizens
IBFB was formed under the register of Joint Stock Companies and Firms in September 2005, and received support in from the International Republican Institute (IRI) and also receives support from PROGATI(Promoting governance, accountability, transparency and integrity), the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

inaugurated the extended facilities of the International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB) on 6 April, 2010. The expansion has resulted in IBFB obtaining a larger Conference Room along with more office space for its ever expanding staff and officials.In his speech, the High Commissioner said that Canada can play an important role in helping Bangladesh secure energy and food security.

Under the agreement, BICF will provide technical assistance to assist IBFB in strengthening its ability to research and advocate for the implementation of business reforms that can open up new opportunities for Bangladesh.
on Sunday, 28 February 2010 at the Marble Room, Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka. There were two sessions, with the first session being the Annual Conference 2009, while the second session, which was exclusively for the members of IBFB, was termed as the Annual general Meeting (AGM).
