This constituency has the education, ability, will and most importantly, in numbers, the power to push for economic reform and a business friendly environment for all. Clearly there is need to identify the core economic issues and present solution to the policy makers in a more cohesive manner to prioritize needs where the national economy would benefit the most. The potential of a truly non-partisan international business forum made up of business people and intellectuals who are interested in solving problems and proposing policies for the economic development of Bangladesh.
IBFB represents non-partisan, Bangladeshi and foreign business owners whose goal is to identify nationwide common business challenges and present solutions which will have impact on public policy reform.

IBFB’s key goal is to contribute to policy formation and reform through harnessing the “power” of its members. Special emphasis will be placed on helping business firms tackling their pressing issues. In IBFB’s advocacy, priorities are member driven. IBFB members formulate the annual business agenda based on their needs and priorities. In addition, IBFB contracts internationally renowned market research companies to conduct nationwide public opinion research, which is used to identify key concerns of independent business owners. In a very strategic and organized approach, IBFB lobby’s w3ith the government for reform for propose new polices.
